Made for salt water chlorinators

Salt water pools still need chlorine - the difference is that a salt chlorinator uses the salt in your pool water to generate chlorine.

NZ Salt Company Pool Salt is specially prepared for this purpose, providing a suitable source of high-purity salt for domestic pools fitted with salt chlorination systems.

When do you need pool salt?

Salt levels can gradually decrease through splash-out, backwashing and water replacement. Your salt chlorinator may also indicate when the salt level is too low.

Always test your pool's salt level and follow your chlorinator manufacturer's recommended salt concentration before adding salt.
