A family story (with a few generations in it)
Clorogene was started right here in Petone by Heather Barton's parents all those years ago. It stayed in the family with Heather and Rob, and today it’s proudly carried on by us, Amanda and Robin along with our kids, Cooper and Harper and a lot of help from their Glammy and Poppa John to keep things afloat. Same values, same location, same commitment to doing things properly.
So when we say family owned, we really mean it.
This business has grown up alongside families, kitchens, laundries, workshops and pools all over the country and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We still manufacture and operate from Petone, because local matters.
