Directions for Use

Blood & Body Substance Spill Decontamination

Use undiluted.

1. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including suitable protective gloves and eye protection.
2. Restrict access to the affected area and carefully remove the bulk of the blood or body substance using disposable paper towels or other suitable absorbent material.
3. Dispose of contaminated absorbent material in an appropriate biohazard/infectious waste container.
4. Apply Clorogene 1% undiluted to the contaminated area, ensuring the affected surface is thoroughly covered.
5. Allow a 2-minute contact time.
6. Clean the area thoroughly with detergent and warm water.
7. Allow the surface to dry or dry as appropriate for the area and surface.

Important: Always follow your facility's approved infection-control procedures and the product label. Use only on surfaces compatible with chlorine-based disinfectants. Never mix Clorogene with acids, ammonia or other cleaning chemicals, as hazardous gases may be released. Adequate ventilation should be maintained when using chlorine products.
