Emergency & Earthquake Kit

Clor-O-Gene can be a useful addition to your home emergency, earthquake or Civil Defence kit. In an emergency where access to safe drinking water may be disrupted, having Clor-O-Gene on hand provides an option for water sanitation when used according to the product directions.

Emergency drinking water: Add 1 capful of Clor-O-Gene to 20 litres of water. Follow the product label directions carefully.

Directions for Use

Bathrooms – Remove Stains, Mould & Mildew

Mix:

125mL (½ cup) Clor-O-Gene + 1 litre water

Use on suitable bathroom surfaces including:

• Tiles
• Showers
• Baths
• Basins
• Floors

Apply the diluted solution to clean surfaces, remove stains and mould/mildew, and kill germs.

Toilets – Kill Germs, Odours & Stains

Use Clor-O-Gene undiluted in and around the toilet to help kill germs, remove odours and tackle stains.

Allow to work as appropriate, then clean/rinse the treated area where required.

Kitchens – Clean & Kill Germs

Mix:

125mL (½ cup) Clor-O-Gene + 1 litre water

Use on suitable surfaces including:

• Benchtops
• Cutting boards
• Appliances
• Kitchen surfaces
• Dishcloths

Rinse food-contact surfaces thoroughly with clean water before food preparation.

Rubbish Bins & Drains – Deodorise & Sanitise

Mix:

250mL (1 cup) Clor-O-Gene + 2 litres water

Use to help kill odours and sanitise suitable rubbish bins and drains.

Laundry – Stain Removal

Clor-O-Gene can be used to help remove stains from linens, whites and colourfast cottons.

For soaking nappies:

250mL (1 cup) Clor-O-Gene + 5 litres water

Leave to soak, then rinse thoroughly.

Always test fabrics first. Test a small, inconspicuous area using a weaker solution before treating the entire item. Do not use on fabrics that are not suitable for chlorine bleach.

Pets & Animal Areas

Spray diluted Clor-O-Gene around suitable areas such as kennels and cat boxes to help remove odours and maintain hygienic conditions.

Rinse thoroughly and allow the area to dry completely before returning animals.

Outdoor Surfaces

For suitable paving and brick areas, use Clor-O-Gene undiluted to clean.

For plastic and wooden furniture:

Mix 250mL (1 cup) Clor-O-Gene + 1 litre water.

Spray onto the surface to help remove moss and grime, then hose off thoroughly.

Always test on an inconspicuous area first, particularly on painted, coloured, coated or delicate surfaces.

• May discolour fabrics – test first.
